​My prayer-poem for Tuesday 4 May 2021
We remember the English Saints and Martyrs of the Reformation Era


Their brutal burnings rose like incense
to your Father heart
and broke it
just like the broken body of Your Son
had done when power
punished Purity as our judgement
to revoke it
