The Triduum (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday) can be observed in three parts: remember, stay, rejoice. This is the second of the three poems.
Stay Veronica stepped out, out into the crowd; kindness in the face of madness. Friends ran away, away from your presence; ultimate panoptic sadness. Your body crucified, crucified that all might live with you in steadfast gladness. ©️Mark Andrew Smith
