My prayer-poem for Saturday 8 May 2021

Sealed in a room of prayer
when plague and Black Death reigned,
Mother Julian saw with faith-kissed eyes
your Motherhood, O God
and blesséd Jesus
birthing us in love and pain
and holy agony
upon the Sacred Cross.
